Platt, 29, and his kindred Dear Evan Hansen alum Galvin, 28, reported their commitment last month. Presently, Platt is giving fans an inside view at the unique second as he shared wistful snaps Monday on Instagram. Galvin opened up to the world about their relationship that May during an episode of the Obscure, yet interesting Bits of trivia with Ilana Levine digital broadcast.
Platt later got serious about how his bond with Galvin turned heartfelt during an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show in June, making sense of that he didn’t understand his affections for the entertainer until five years into their companionship. “We’ve been together eighteen months now,” he said at that point.

“We were companions for a considerable length of time and just before the pandemic, we at last chose to offer it a chance, as a matter of fact. We sort of skated around it for quite a while.”
As per Platt, the Coronavirus pandemic brought things from “zero to 60,” and the couple began “living respectively with my folks in our young life home and seeing each other constantly.”
